Welcome to Colorado Warriors Hockey. By accessing our website

and participating in our programs, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Agreement

You agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Terms and Conditions Agreement (“Agreement”) with respect to our site and services. This Agreement constitutes the entire and only agreement between us and you, and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, warranties, and understandings.

2. Program Eligibility

The Colorado Warriors Hockey program is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization specifically serving disabled veterans. To participate in our on-ice programs, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a veteran or active-duty service member (within 3 months of separation).
  • Must provide proof of a 10% or greater service-connected disability rating from the VA, or satisfy other medical eligibility requirements as defined in our Enlistment Protocol.
  • Must maintain an active USA Hockey registration.

We reserve the right to verify service history and disability status to maintain the integrity of our mission.

3. Equipment and Property

As part of our “concierge” experience, the Colorado Warriors may provide loaner equipment (jerseys, pads, helmets, etc.).

  • Ownership: Any equipment provided to you remains the sole property of Colorado Warriors Hockey.
  • Accountability: You are responsible for the care and maintenance of this equipment.
  • Return Policy: Upon separation from the team or upon request by the Board of Directors, all equipment must be returned in good condition.
  • Liability: You agree to compensate the organization for the full replacement value of any equipment that is lost, stolen, or not returned.

4. Code of Conduct

The “Locker Room Sanctuary” is built on mutual respect and shared mission.

  • All participants are expected to uphold the values of the “Warrior Identity.”
  • Harassment, discrimination, or conduct detrimental to the brotherhood/sisterhood of the organization will result in immediate removal from the program without refund of any associated fees.

5. SMS and Mobile Communication (A2P Disclosure)

By providing your phone number and opting in through our Enlistment Protocol or contact forms, you consent to receive text messages from Colorado Warriors Hockey regarding schedules, SitReps, and program updates.

  • Opt-Out: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the number we messaged you from.
  • Help: If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword “HELP” or contact truelson@coloradowarriorshockey.org.
  • Costs: Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on team activity.

6. Carrier Disclaimer

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Colorado Warriors Hockey is not responsible for message delivery failures caused by mobile carriers, network issues, or factors outside our control.

7. Age Requirement

By accessing this website, submitting forms, or participating in any Colorado Warriors Hockey programs or communications, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to enroll in programs or submit personal information without verified parental or legal guardian consent.

8. Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk

Ice hockey is a high-speed, physical sport with inherent risks. By participating in any Colorado Warriors Hockey event:

  • You acknowledge that you are participating “at your own risk.”
  • You release Colorado Warriors Hockey, its Board of Directors, coaches, and volunteers from any and all liability for injuries, illnesses, or damages incurred during practices, games, or travel.
  • You certify that you are in adequate physical shape to participate in high-intensity athletic activity.

9. Non-Profit Integrity

Colorado Warriors Hockey is a registered 501(c)(3). In no way shall the name, logo, or reputation of the Colorado Warriors Hockey Club be used by any individual member for personal financial gain or unauthorized solicitation.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be treated as though it were executed and performed in the State of Colorado and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado.
